 This was unfortunately another defeat for Downham and another one that they can have few complaints about. Goals from Aaron Bullent on the half hour mark and Gabriel Overton early in the second half meant that the points went back to Suffolk. Things had already gone from bad to worse early on after the break when William Moxon was sent off, so the second Lowestoft goal pretty much killed the competition off with Downham mainly chasing shadows.

 Wednesday night saw Downham go down 4-0 in the battle of the markets. It was a really lackluster performance from the Reds. Well, to be honest I actually thought that the defence played quite well, which probably shows how much of a struggle it was. To be fair, Newmarket defended well on the occasions that they needed to and were clinical in front of goal. Not much to say about this one. On to Lowestoft at home on Saturday.
