Fisher FC 2 Dulwich Hamlet 2

Saturday saw us take a trip down to London to watch Fisher take on Dulwich in Bermondsey before going to watch the England game in a pub in Elephant and Castle. The England game was pretty dire with England getting to the semifinals on penalties but the Fisher game was entertaining.

Fortunately, there were some sunny spells during the game, as we spent most of our time getting to the ground in torrential rain. The beer that they had on by local brewery was Anspach and Hobday was fantastic. It probably wasn't the best idea to try every 'flavour' but it's too late now.

As for the game it was another one of those friendlies that was a game of two halves. Literally. Both teams started and finished with a mixture of regular players and trialists, it was just it was a different 11 each half. The first half belonged to Fisher who scored 2 well taken goals to go in at halftime with a well deserved two goal lead. In the second half the game was turned on its head as Dulwich Hamlet scored twice to restore parity.

It was a good day out at a nice club with good facilities, well worth the trip.
