Cambridge United 0 Crawley Town 1

Over the last three seasons in League 1 Cambridge have struggled for goals and this season doesn't look like it is going to be very different. I might be being harsh but I think that it might be even harder for them to find goals this season. The line seems to be being led by a very young Dan Barton and Shayne Lavery, who will need to find some fitness and his goal scoring boots quickly if the Us are to avoid the drop.

Overall it wasn't a bad performance and Cambridge had the better of the chances and were overall pretty resolute in defence. It was the decision making in the final third that led to problems and to be fair some good saves from Jojo Wollacott in the Crawley goal. However, as often happens on these occasions a lack of decisiveness in front of goal goes punished and with 4 minutes left Ade Adeyemo sealed the three points for the visitors when Josh Flint made the most of Cambridge committing too many players forward and finding Adeyemo on the break.
